Let this year's calendar begin! I will be submitting a picture each month based on a different cryptozoological beast from different parts of the world.This month's cryptid is the Tatzelwurm ( also known as Alps Dragon or Stollenwurm ). This creature is described as having a snake-like body, clawed front legs and a large feline-like head with sharp teeth, and is said to eat livestock and live in or near caves in the European Alps.

This one was referenced in a MLP episode; that monster had no feline features, just making it a huge worm that lived in a mountain.

That's neat! I don't watch that show, but it's cool they put a bunch of creatures in it like that. I saw they also put in Wendigo as well, and some other cool things I haven't done yet.

True. Sometimes the creatures are very similar to classic myth, like the Chimera and Manticore, while others get changed, like the Wendigo, who got changed into Windigos.
And it makes sense; after all, several of the main characters are pegasi and unicorns.

Lol right? I made the calendar challenge a personal goal again this year. 
Yeah I hope :devseptikskeptic: is ok. I know he was going through some lowpoints for a while, but the last time I talked to him he was doing very well and was just really busy. So hopefully that's all it is. Even though I am quite busy myself lately, and probably wouldn't have time to compete I do miss his contests though!

Yes I'm personally kinda afraid of cats sometimes because I got my face scratched by one when I was 5 yrs old. So now I'm more of a dog person, I had 5 so far >_>
Yes, I hope so too...I wish I could come back with the contests, we (him and ) where discussing some contest ideas back in 2015, so they're still sitting there in the admin area.
