Tenraiyuugou is a Japanese martial art where the movements of the body are meant to support both the length and force of the Nodachi blade. Arguably one of the most difficult arts to perfect, the art of Divine Fusion focuses on the Nodachi as an extension of the body, making both speed and physical strength its primary focus. Unlike typical Nodachi styles, the art of Divine Fusion eliminates the standard, recognized boundaries of the sword’s form; sacrificing defensive capabilities for both agility and power. As previously stated, the style focuses on the Nodachi as a primary weapon, practitioners utilizing the blade for attack, defense, and acrobatics, depending on the strength of the forge. While attacks in this style may appear flamboyant and uncontrolled, and tend to suffer from a hindered attack speed, due to the far reaching, oversized nature of the blade, there is a great deal of thought and calculation that goes into its wielding; and a keen mind and honed body is essential to its mastery.

Style: Hinoko is able to manipulate her lightning in several different ways, though in most cases it becomes an extension of her Nodachi. After igniting the blade with a free-flowing electrical current, Hinoko is able to control it in entirety; striking opponents with an intense, high voltage electrical blast when impact is made. If her Nodachi maintains consistent contact with an individual, their nervous system will start to degrade— leading to paralysis (and potential fatality) if contact is not broken, or the succession of the cuts is not spaced adequately.

Apart from the base control of electrical current, Hinoko is able to fire off super concentrated ‘waves’ of electricity by swiping the length of her blade. These blasts do not lose strength based on physical distance, and are equally effective close or long range. However, if the blast exceeds certain limitations, it will ground to the nearest possible location. These blasts can also be condensed into thin bolts, which are easier to dodge, but possess a fatally intense amperage and voltage level.

Along with Hinoko’s apparent dominion over the destruction of one’s circulatory system, her lightning can do more than render the body useless. Due to the intense concentration of electrical current, attacks laid upon an opponent by Hinoko tend to leave heavy burns in their wake; the severity dependant on the original attack’s strength.

To make up for her lack of defensive capabilities, Hinoko is able to create a current around her body that stems from the tip of her Nodachi; ultimately encircling her form.
While this current will not necessarily stop all attacks, it will hinder physical attackers from reaching her without receiving damage themselves, and act as a parrying mechanism to lessen blows. The electrical current is strong enough to repel low to mid-class attacks as well.

Other than the listed uses of her powers, Hinoko has developed a technique known as Hiroi Supa-kukouasshuku (Vast Sparkling Pressure), which creates a veritable deluge of electricity within the immediate area. Virtually unavoidable, this attack generally spells fatality for the unlucky victim that ventures inside it, due to the critical amperage of the electricity. Unfortunately, this attack is a two way street, and causes Hinoko damage as well—though in most cases, a little less. Needless to say, should the victim happen to survive this attack, it is highly likely that she will lose; hence the reason for its rare utilization. This technique was originally her blood father’s most refined and effective skill, but due to her humanity, it often causes Hinoko more harm than good; unlike her father, who was virtually unfazed by the electrical current.
