I've probably explained it before but since Kira's species is based on shadows their main weakness is light. The most effective way to deal with them is with light-based magic, but they also have troubles dealing with intense lighting and especially sunlight; while these are not as effective as light magic, they can weaken them a lot, limit and even prevent them from using some of their powers, however this is not enough to kill them as they can only be killed with "blessed" lighting which can only be produced by another species (which is basically like their opposite)

Kira is a bit lucky on that regard since she's half human so lighting doesn't affect her as much as a full demon however she also experiences negative effects by being exposed to intense lights for extended periods of time, usually tiredness and a burning sensation, it can also make her faint. Something particular that happens with Kira when exposed to light for a long amount of time is that she loses her powers so you could consider her to be human during that state, she slowly starts to regain them with time as long as she's in a shady place so she can rest and recover her energy

Also small fun fact, Kira's outfit is actually white and the black color is due to a passive ability that allows her to have them covered in shadows as some sort of armor which helps her reduce the damage caused to her and allows her to re-shape her outfit so she can create the claws you've seen her use sometimes as a weapon. This passive ability is also affected by lighting so when she's being exposed to it for a while these shadows start to dissolve and her outfit becomes white and just like her "human" state it requires her to be at a shady place and rest until she has regained some of her energy back
