aka "the ghibli scene gamefreak refused to show us", or "let's see how many layers i can add to this until i go crazy"

dsdfghjk this piece killed me. I had the sketch + lineart for Hop and Zacian + their flat coloring and shading in like two sessions, but then :
1) I wasn't satisfied with Hop's lineart and redid it entirely
2) I wasn't satisfied with the shading and redid it entirely
3) I had to recolor the lineart so it would blend in more nicely
4) that background lmao

In the end I'm more satisfied with the latter (especially that forest !!) than the scene actually taking place, but anyway I would still die for Hop
