You know, I remember hearing someone from Crystal Dynamics say that Lara might have been allowed in, though they wanted the new Tomb Raider to come out first so that players could first experience the new Lara in that game rather than in a crossover. The fact that we could probably have got to play as her if we just got one last DLC pack makes me 
(Oh, and her rival should definitely be Joel & Ellie from The Last of Us.)
