Your millage may vary but I find RPM to be the old PR series that truly outdoes it's corresponding Sentai series. Go-Onger could be too goofy and kiddy for me while RPM was made into something a lot of fans love for a lot of reasons:
-Subverting classic PR tropes - The explosion at the end of a morph being used as an attack and a way to fix the issue of the day, explanation for silly things like eyes and many PR wackiness.
-Funny Dialogue that doesn't make you roll your eyes. It really was a witty show where the jokes weren't ones looking down on their audience
-Plot. There is plots and subplots to actually keep you interested.
-Battles are very interesting especially when we get to the American filmed ones.
-Great Sidecharacters. Dr. K and the Commander were all good in their roles on the show.
