From time to time
I feel that it is
not I who write
upon the paper but yet
the paper that wishes
me to
write upon't
     As if yet somehow
the paper might
think in and of itself
and like some magnet
     attract my pen to
lay out the words it wishes
to have laid out
     'Twere simpler then
to only listen to the
paper than to think for
myself. Or yet
is it myself that
is the paper's voice?
