i know only a little Japanese, enough to get me by. plus once you've played one .hack, you've played them all. (knowing hirigana helps ALOT)

Japanese has 3 alphabets, hiragana, which is the most used one, katakana, used for taking non japanese words and saying them with an accent, and kanji, which is also chinese symbols, just pronounced differently.

i put the lightning on a separate layer with the paint tool and gave it an outer glow with a slight blue (layer properties)

I noticed that you didn't go all the way accross with the lightning that is closest to Naruto, where it almost touches him. It's really cool. Almost like it fades out. Did you do that intentionally?

lol i'm staying with and they live in ontario with me, but they're teaching english for the year. plus i can fly for next to nothing, so i get to visit.
i'm not sure what you mean about the lightning, but i did taper of the tips of the lightning as they would only reach so far, plus there is a layer of black gradient over the whole pic to add focus.
