Note to self, make sure drawing lines are black before you put it in SAI.I couldn't adjust the brightness or contrast more without messing it up. Big thanks to DeeDrawsStuff for helping me figure out how to colour photographed sketches in SAI! (Regaleo coloUr

You can rip your sketches off the paper in SAI and make the lines darker, not to mention put them on another layer and make the background a different color. :3

Not sure how to explain it for SAI but in Photoshop, you open your scanned sketch > make a new layer (above the sketch layer) > fill that layer with all black > fill the sketch layer with white (make sure contiguous is unchecked) > set the black layer to soft light > merge that layer with sketch layer > Go to Channels > click the dotted circle thing at the bottom > click Select > click Inverse > click Edit > cut and paste > refill background layer with white and ta da! Sketch is now on it's own layer. To make the lines darker you lock the layer's transparency and go over the lines with whatever color you want.
