I like the concept of this character. I came up with something similar years ago, a man who was attacked and left for dead by gang bangers who rose up to become a stealthy vigilante fighting thugs and drug dealers on the streets... but I ultimately gave up on it. It didn't sound nearly as cool as this anyway.
