I've been trimming my over-sized boards down a bit and ending up with these little bookmark pieces of paper. Instead of throwing them out I decided to use them for a completely random character each day. Whatever I feel like drawing when I wake up.Although I DO know who I want to draw tomorrow. And if someone were to suggest something hot I wouldn't be against it.
So with Wolverine yesterday and Cyclops today I guess I'm on an X-Men kick. And yes, tomorrow's is 95% decided, and it'll be an X-Man too.
Was never too big a fan of Cyclops. I always loved his uniqueness and the X-Men franchise itself is one of the sickest things Stan came up with, and you gotta love that power, but still...
I guess Jim Lee's classic run was my favorite Cyclops period and even then it was only for the costume.
But lately..?
Although I don't think every character has to have stubble to make them "hard" and "cool", his new kick-ass attitude is working for me. Except when they go too far and all of a sudden he's ordering the X-Men to FRICKING KILL PEOPLE!!! But aside from that, much cooler.

I never thought about selling them, right now these are fun for the sake of fun. Maybe in the future once they're all done. As of right now I have 13 more pieces/days to go.

stan lee didnt really make the x-men, it was chris clairmont.
and the x-men killing people is what makes it interesting, because that whole being better than your enemy shit was gettin on my nerves.

I think you might be equating "make the x-men" to "making them famous". In which case yes, Chris(along with John Byrnes, Jim Lee and more) helped to do. I'm talking about CREATING the X-Men. Which Stan did along with Jack Kirby.
And from your second comment I'm guessing you're more of a Malcolm X fan than a MLK??lol

yes, thats what i meant. forgot to use quotes on "make" but you got the drift. clairmonts run MADE the xmen, because before that team was assembled, the old team was BORING.

you should color it and sell it as a bookmark! we used to give them away. it's a good idea and i'm sure it'll do well for you.
