as far as I know.. that is one of possible endingds in visual novel... it depend what route you played... anyway that alternative ending is in manga... where shiki choose to be with white princess in her millenium castle..

I play the Melty Blood games and have seen the anime, and I plan on reading the manga. Although Lunar Legend Tsukihime was only 12 episodes in length it still felt like a long series somehow. My biggest complaint is that the fight between Shiki and Nrvnqsr was way too short.
