The prince of light will always fight to banish the darkness and bring endless light.

Only one can win...

Because for all his blight and evil might he can only hope to extend his plight
For can any darkness ever persevere against the brilliant sight of endless light?---


Can you tell which side I'm on?

Well I've FINALLY done it! I finished my entry for 's Good and Evil contest!!! I thought I wouldn't make it but I stayed up late a couple nights and ignored a little housework (hehe) and it's so done!

As you can probably tell I'm pretty pleased that I finished it, I've worked on it as much as possible for the last oh...3 weeks or so.

It's not as elaborate or detailed as I planned to do but I have so many things on my plate right now I didn't want to get so bogged down I wouldn't even finish in time.

Technical stuff...

References used:
Breyer model horse for pose and musculature on light horse.
Eagle statue for pose etc. on light eagle.
Default Poser horse posed for ...pose LoL on dark horse.
Sun image for sun reference (that's stating the obvious, what else would I use it as a reference for...LoL).

That's it for references, probably why the animals aren't exactly even close to perfect...LoL

Time taken: over 40 hours probably (and about 7-9 of those got scrapped and started over..LoL)

I always believe that good and evil can come from both light and darkness. They balance, for we can see with light and observe, but dream and find wisdom in darkness. Light can try to purify everything, only to realize imperfections create strength. Darkness can try to consume, only to realize people pure of heart are resilient. Yin and Yang, end of story^^

...but just because it's dark doesn't mean it's evil. Besides, without dark we would have no light, and without good no evil. They form a balance, as all things must.
Does that make evil the source of good?

It is simply my interpretation, my concept and my artwork. You have no right to challenge me on my beliefs/ideas/interpretations. This is an ART site, if you want to debate the universe do it elsewhere. If you want to look at, critique or appreciate art then be my guest; that's why my art is here.

Thank you. Yes I did, hours upon hours. I've never done anything even remotely like this before so it was definately an advance into very new territory for me.
