These were drawn for a project back in high school. They *were* in a journal I made out of bark and coffee stained paper, until the dog's chewed it up. But I saved these pretties. I used photo refs from searching on yahoo.com. Simple sketches of squirrel monkeys.Ball point pen on coffee stained (and smelly) paper.

Those monkeys are absolutely fabulous. I especially like the one on the left and his inquisitive profile. You did a great job capturing the curiosity and life in these monkeys. I also love they way they look against your home made paper.

These are fantastic you certainly have excellent technical ability(an ur actual character designs are very impressive as well).
I also have a real soft spot for ball point pen drawings. Its easily the most underated medium around

Thank you very much. (: I would have to agree about ball point being underated. I think it might be because when used heavy it leaves a red tint when you look at it in the light. :/ I had an experiment once to see if mineral spirits would get rid of the tint, it did sort of and smuged a red haze around the doodle. xD Opps.

That last one is way too cute!!! I thought the first one (on the left) was a skull. XD I'm way too obsessed with skulls
