Ninox connivens, also known as the Barking Owl and Winking Owl. They have black-and-white vision and are considered to have the best night vision in the animal world. They also apparently see up to 200 times better than humans, despite seeing without colour. They are endemic to Australia and parts of Papua New Guinea.

I'm not entirely happy with the clarity of this shot. But for now, it will do.
