Description I'm not one much for painting a lot, but Today I drive home, sit down and get settled as usual, then right out decide to sketch something in openCanvas. A few hours later this pops out. It came as quite a surprise to me; I've never tried to paint something before, I'm a graphite artist by heart. Yet I really love how this turned out

I only wish I'd had more time to work on it, and draw out more of this rusty sea dog, perhaps a background. I love how the coat came out, and I've learned so much from just starting to ending this peice. I'll definately come back to oC and try it again, now that I know the program a little more.

Is this like... a tribute to The Lost Coast, or something? Kinda reminded me of that one guy person dude... Nice work though. oC brings out an artist's true abilities!

wow, i realy do have to say i realy REALY like this one, the folds in the clothing is just awsome to no end, and you drew a furry that is of old age, somthing i dont see alot, great job!

I seem to draw more old/tired/worn out characters than young ones... and the clothing folds, heh; It was almost an accident. First I drew a kindof rough and smudged outline, then I took a hard-brush and put in a lot of crisp black lines... then when I started painting in the rest of the coat with larger brushes, the folds kindof came out almost on their own, and the black outlines were subdued a bit after everything I put over them. Really gives it a painted look, at least in my eyes. I like it

Oh I'm coming back alright... Now that I've gotten this english work out of the way (woo-hoot, I had to read 60 pages and answer about 30 questions. Was up till one)
