Description
This has a crazy!dark background, I realize, but I kinda hope you can see it a little.soooo, this was my Illustration project over the weekendofnosleep. It's no where near as done as i wanted it to be, but i would rather chew razors then work on it any more, thanks to the horrible monday.
my first honest to gawd digital all the way, don't look back piece.
Done in Painter, and a little in Illustrator/Photoshop.

hmmm... last hope type of thing?!
i get the sense that this robot is carrying/protecting one of the last humans,
that it will birth and try to raise the human as best it can and answer its many questions!
and in my mind eventually discover another human of opposite sex and realize it's not the last human that there is hope, and the robot will reluctantly let its child go to build a new life, but the human will never forget it's robot mother, and maybe it will leave with them! =..) anywho thats were this takes me when i see it!

we just had to make an illustration that conveyed an emotion, and included a certian number of things from a list (like handheld indoor or outdoor machine, human male or female, printed text or logo, child's toy or mode of transportation, prepared or natural food, etc)
