holy shit. I'm upset that I didn't see this portrait before. The first thing that caught my attention was your eye. Photos of peoples' eyes are usually cliche and sometimes overdone, but you've got a beautifully unique range of soft brown, to yellow, and hazel in yours, which makes it look almost supernatural. (I can't tell if the green hue was natural, since I notice it equally in the sheen of your hair)
I couldn't help pulling it into photoshop to brighten it up, after noticing some elements in the dark areas of the photo that seemed to tease my eye. The whole composition of you, your hair, and the shadow from the sun framing what could be a phantom-of-the-opera style half-mask together made an absolutely brilliant, artistic portrait. I hope you could do something like this again with a higher quality camera and slightly brighter shadows, because this is worth being framed in a gallery. It's gorgeous without the obscured features, but they're stunning when visible.

'bout time I got to commenting back, eh? A long bout away from DA, and I come back to wonderful things like this! The shot is actually sheer luck, my sister and I had been on a trip up to Reno, and when I looked back to ask her for the Dorittos, this is what I saw. So, camera on, and a click later this is what I got. Sheer luck of the shot, no real planning or skill involved here, sadly. I wish I could boast such a thing.
Sadly, photo-wise, there won't be anything new for a long time, I now have no camera, and even if I had, I doubt I could ever recreate it, espcially since she was so absolutely genuine in the shot. Thanks for the great comment.

Some short in the circuts. And ho, am I looking, and boy am I not finding at all. Then again, my budget is scary limited. Anything from 40-100 is the most I could get, tops. So...yup. Makes me sad, I've got the ideas, just not the means to use 'em.
