Age: 18
Looks: long brown hair; curly. Blue eyes 5''6
Personality: friendly, kind, has a anger problem, has a sense of humor, is a little perverted (which you don't have to add because of your parents) helpful and strong; likes to start fights and swear when angry (if parents are a problem translate swears into Darn it and frick)
Place you meet: in my bedroom. I leave the window open and he flies in

What do you want Vlad to do: actually it will be his Son, Thomas. he is simply hungry and wants to make me his next meal. Maybe Vlad can make an appearance
Other: I don't really know. She is completely human this time

Ashlen Cook was sitting on her bed, reading. The warm spring breeze was blowing through her open window. The half-moon glowed brightly and sent enough light into her room to read with. She looked out the window for a moment before going back to her book. It was not very late in the night on a weekend but her family was already asleep. They had all worked very hard today but only she retained enough to stay up.
Up over her front yard a bat was flying out, looking for dinner. This particular bat was not really a bat at all- he was a vampire. Thomas Hide beat his wings, trying to bring in the scent of fresh blood. A whiff of the delicious liquid touched his nose and a fanged smirk crossed his furry face. He flew down to investigate.
A draft of warm breeze led his nose right to an open window. Inside was a young woman. He placed her at maybe eighteen. The blood smelled wonderful, warm but not too thick. Just what he was craving tonight. He entered carefully, keeping himself from hitting the ceiling when the breeze stopped and he no longer had to fly upward. The girl looked up in surprise.
"Oh, hello." She chuckled just a little. Unlike a lot of girls her age she wasn't very scared of bats. They were just animals, after all. She would just shoo it out. "Where did you come from?" She began to stand up to lead him out.
Thomas saw her begin to get up and eyed her. He loved to put a little scare into his prey. The vampire returned to his human form. His feet touched the floor soundlessly and he wiped his silvery blonde hair back with one clawed hand before answering her. "Europe." He smirked coldly, displaying his fangs so they gleamed in the moonlight.
Ashlen emitted a short, high pitched scream and fell backwards. She tumbled off the bed, tangled in her blanket, and landed in the floor. "What the heck?!"
He took a few short steps over to her and leaned over the edge of the bed to look at her. His hands were folded behind his back in a businesslike fashion. "Get up." He commanded the startled girl.
Ashlen was trying to regain her bearings. "Why would I do that?!" She demanded, her temper rising. It was a monster! A monster in her room trying to eat her! "Get out of here!" She began to tear the blanket off of herself.
"No." The vampire snapped at her and grabbed the girl's arm. He was not the sort of vampire to take no for an answer. He was always ready to kill a human of the right age if he had to or even if he was simply thirsty. He was not the sympathetic type. In fact, you could say that he HATED humans.
The girl was struggling madly. "Get away from me!" She tried to punch him, planting her fist hard against his chest. He hardly noticed, brushing the spot off of his beige suit like a speck of dust had landed there.
"No," He said again, firmly. She answered by kicking him hard between the legs. This he felt. The vampire winced and released her arm, groaning slightly. Man that was STILL tender! He growled slightly and spun around to her. "Why you little-" He realized the girl had already run across the room.
"Want to go for round two?" Ashlen threatened, looking like a boxer. She was stanced to fight. Thomas snarled under his breath. He transformed into a cloud of smoke, trying to worm behind the girl and grab her. It wasn't working very well at all. She pressed back against the wall and slowly edged towards the closet.
He quickly realized his tactics weren't working on the human. He frowned angrily and returned to bat form. Maybe he could get into her hair or something? But as he was plotting Ashlen's foot twitched, telling him she was going for the closet. He smiled slowly again. If she was going for the closet he might be able to slip in and grab her from behind?
The tan-furred bat dived for the closet. He flapped inside and turned to grab her- only to have the door slammed in his smug, furry little face. He growled and heard the lock click before returning to human form. That human girl had trapped him in here! "Let me out!" He beat on the door angrily.
"Why should I?" Ashlen demanded, snatching a towel from her hamper and stuffing it in the cracks beneath the door so he couldn't become a cloud of mist and escape again. "You're just going to come out here and kill me."
Thomas sighed angrily. He was going to have to do the thing he hated most of all- compromise. "I promise not to kill you if you let me out." He was a man of his word and crossed his silent heart with a claw, even if she didn't see. She was a worthy opponent anyway so it would be almost a shame to kill the girl.
Ashlen smirked. She didn't quite believe him but decided that it would be fin to let him stew in there for the next few hours, or days. She leaned on the door and yawned a little. "Maybe later." The girl giggled cruelly and went off to bed.
The vampire's mouth hung a little askew in disbelief. She was leaving him in here! He growled and curled his claws into fists. How dare she. But he didn't force his way out. A broken door was too much to bother with. He placed a pointed blue ear against the door, listening for her to do something, or say something else. But she didn't. He listened to her heartbeat slow and was fairly sure that in a few minutes she was asleep. This impressed him a little. She was sleeping soundly when there was, very literally, a monster in her closet. He grew bored soon after, frown fading to a look of boredom. The vampire returned to his bat form and roosted in the corner to snooze for the time being.
~~a few hours later~~~
Ashlen woke about an hour before the rose. She was a fairly light sleeper and since she knew she would have to get rid of the vampire before dawn. Really, she wasn't so cruel as to toss him out in the sunlight. The girl yawned a little and rubbed the back of her neck. She walked over to the closet and took the towel from under it. After opening the door and having the minute surprise of not seeing him she realized that her attacker had turned back into a bat and was curled up in the ceiling corner. She had a small smirk on her face. "Would've thought that you'd have tried harder to escape." She muttered and turned, beginning to walk to the bathroom to pee.
Thomas woke at the noise, not to mention the scent of her blood, He opened his wings to stretch and flew silently out of the closet after her. He returned to human form and grabbed the unsuspecting girl from behind. "Can't fight me now, can you?" He smirked, showing his shining fangs.
The girl shivered in surprise before looking back at him angrily. "Can I at least go pee first?" She demanded, irritable from just waking up. "Or do you want to get kicked?"
The vampire frowned. He certainly did NOT want to be kicked again, but was oh so thirsty. "Vhy should I let you go? I don't trust you." He licked his lips solemnly.
Ashlen squirmed in his powerful grip. "Come on, when you're stronger and faster than me?" She thought for a moment, face turning to a curious look. "Weren't you human once? Don't you know the feeling of having to go pee after you wake up?" It was a weak plead but maybe it was enough to get his sympathetic side going. In fact it was.
Thomas released the teenager, practically throwing her away. That mention of his being human was enough to make him feel… odd, and he didn't really like it. "Go on." He said, frown deepening. "And yes, I vas."
Ashlen looked back at him and went into the bathroom. She did her business and sighed as she was washing her hands. After she dried them she stood just away from the door. The girl had no plans just to walk out there and let him drink from her. There was no mutual trust here. "How do I know you won't just kill me when I come out?"
Thomas's face drooped tiredly. He really didn't have time for this crap. The vampire forced the door instead of replying. His head was buzzing with thirst. "I am a man of my word." He grabbed her, wrapping his arm around the girl's shoulders to restrain her and tilting her chin up.
The girl winced at the grip. There would be bruising if he kept this up. And she would have to trust him to keep his word for now. "Fine, fine," She wormed her arms about to try and make more room. It was an ultimate failure. "But you can be a little more gentle. It's not like I'm going anywhere." She muttered angrily. "But if you're lying, I'll come back as a ghost and haunt you for eternity."
Ashlen's threat was a bit of surprise to him. She could very well do that. No, he definitely wasn't lying about the bite now. His arm's loosened just a little bit before he leaned down over her throat. "Alright then. Just hold still." The vampire didn't give her time to think before biting and beginning to drink. The girl let out a short strangled yelp of pain but he ignored it, used to the sound. He was drinking fast but tried to be a little gentle with her. If he was going to let her live there was no real point to making it ridiculously painful.
As the girl's vision blurred slightly from the pain and loss of blood she managed to reach up and grab his arm. The vampire's eyes snapped open in surprise. He had lost himself, as he had done many, many times, in the drinking and forgot the victim. Thomas pulled away slightly and licked his lips, satisfied. It was a very new thing for him to spare the victim. It could even be considered a shock that he could still see her chest rise and fall with breath.
He lifted her into his arms and began to carry Ashlen back into her bedroom. She looked a little surprised and squirmed, still having enough strength to keep herself going even though she felt a haze of sleepiness coming. "Where are you taking me?" She asked.
"Back to bed. You're going to be tired and need to sleep all you can." He set her down, preparing to hypnotize the girl so she couldn't speak of him.
"Hey, no!" She scooted back, catching on about when his eyes began to glow red again. "It's almost dawn! Shouldn't you be leaving?" The girl demanded, not totally sure what would happen if she let him put her under mind control. A lot of stuff could happen and she knew it. She snapped away from him distrustfully.
The young man groaned angrily to himself. "I have to hypnotize you so you can't speak of me to anyvone." He explained impatiently.
"It's not like anyone would believe me. I'd sound like a mental case saying I locked a vampire in my closet."
This somehow lightened Thomas's mood. He stood back straight and took a step back. He almost chuckled. "That is true. And I've never had someone fight me like that." He tapped his chin before looking out the window thoughtfully. "Maybe it IS best that I allow you to remember." The girl let out a slight sigh of relief before realizing that he might come back to kill her later on in her life, whether it be weeks or years from now. He sat her down on the bed gently.
She…on second thought… did feel very tired. The loss of blood was making her head spin a little bit. "Ah… thank you…" She said, glad he was not going to hurt her…for now. But that didn't really matter for now and she laid down to get some rest before the morning. The teenager looked up again to see if the vampire had left yet but he was gone. She closed her eyes sickly and went to sleep.
Meanwhile, Thomas was flapping his wings determinedly away from the house. His muzzle was wrinkled with thought… on whether or not to return for her later or not.
