Description
She kept running down the hall, eye clamped in her teeth tightly, trying to figure out a plan. She couldn't go back, because he wouldn't let her and, well, she was scared. Renée dashed on all fours to the launch bay. She wasn't sure where she was going but knew she couldn't stay here. It was leave or risk being caught. But how would she get off the space station?Stowing away on a Star cruiser was not an option. She would be caught all too easily. So, where was she supposed to go? She knew how to drive a cruiser but was not totally sure how to operate it on her own. Maybe there were some smaller ships around? Renée certainly didn't have a lot of time to look, but she would try. She turned on her heel and cut a corner to take a shortcut through the lunchroom. The Rangers turned around the corner about then and ran right past her. Breathing a short sigh of relief, she caught her breath and took off again.

Alan looked at Buzz. He was in a state of worry too deep to describe. His daughter had just run off and they had no idea where she was going. "What have we done, buzz?"
"We've just either stopped or started a very big mess." The ranger said flatly, catching his breath. "Where did she go?" He looked back at the rookies.
XR shrugged his shoulders and waved his hands innocently. "No idea. She went off around one of these corners."
"Then find her!" Nebula commanded. “If she plans on meeting with the energy vampire again she has all of our secrets.”
"Not exactly, Sir." XL spoke up meekly. "The only ‘secrets’ she ever looked at were the criminal records." He put his finger to his lip questioningly. "Come to think of it, the only record she ever looked at besides mine and her own -and that was on her first day here- were Nos-4-a2’s.” He grimaced. "I didn't think it meant anything."
"With luck, it didn't." The commander said coldly. "She was just checking up on her ‘master’.”
“I hate that you put it that way." Alan said, rubbing the side his head and mussing up the fur confusedly.
"It can't be put truthfully any other way." Buzz sighed. “You've got to face it, Alan. Your daughter’s is in cahoots with a universally feared villain, whether she likes it or not."
"I think she likes it." XR spat.
“We can deal with all that later.” Buzz waved his hands to get the Rookie's attention again. “But right now we need to find the fugitive.”
“Fugitive?” Alan shook his head sadly.
“Yes, fugitive.” Buzz nodded approvingly at the title. “Officially, as of right now, that is what Renee Gade is.”

Renée was breathing heavily by the time she got to the smaller ships at the end of the launch bay. She was still tired and in plenty of pain from surgery. What a morning for her to not to wear her utility belt. She kept everything she needed in that belt for robot repairs, including an occasional pain pill for when something didn't go right. Also in the belt was her wallet, filled with money and her driver’s license. She would have to be very careful outside the space station too, it appeared.
A small one-man rocket ship came into view just behind the rest of the Star cruisers. Perfect. She thought, smiling a little. This was her ticket out of here. Out of danger. She shook her head, correcting herself quickly: out of danger of being saved from my own curse. The girl hissed. What overdramatic bull crap. She slipped into the cruiser, the hatch opening with a small hiss of compressed air. The key was in the ignition.
Well, here goes nothing. She strapped herself in and turned the key carefully. A small but loud engine report and an explosion of flames from the back end surprised the girl into slamming a foot onto the gas. The ship took off, bee-lining straight up towards the exit doors. She had forgotten to open them. The Zephyrite gritted her teeth, prepared for a painful impact, but went straight through the doors like a hot knife through butter. An alarm went off inside the station to tell everyone that the doors were now had a gaping hole in them. Renée kept her teeth clamped tightly together as the G forces of space travel hit her.
Slowly as the cabin conditions adjusted the girl lifted her foot off the pedal, bringing the ship to a stop before she rammed into anything. She didn't want to get off the space station just to run into another ship. Renee opened her eye and sat in the still of space trying to figure out where she would go. The obvious choice was Trade World, but it was so obvious that the Rangers were guaranteed to look there first. She thought about Tangea and Rhizome but felt lost. Maybe Trade World wasn't such a bad idea after all, with its impossible spaces and high crime rate she could hide easily.
Renée set the GPS to take her to Trade World and was surprised to find that it was in the same solar system. That works out pretty well, actually. She thought with a smile. It's nearby, it's stupidly obvious, and its master’s favorite hideout in general. 'If anyone's going to fix this mess I'll make sure it's him.'

Alan looked up at the red flashing lights and sighed angrily. "That's it, she's off the station. How are we to find her now?"
"With a little ranger ingenuity." Buzz cocked an eyebrow slyly. "Where do they always head, rookies?"
"Trade World." Everyone, including Alan, automatically stated in a bored harmony. It was true, they always want to Trade World. Now that they had the general area all they had to do was search an entire planet for one girl.
"That's going to be impossible!" XL waved his arms in anger. He just couldn't believe it. Sure, the eye gave some stuff away, but actually under the vampire’s mind control? He didn't want to believe it.
"Not with –"
"Ranger ingenuity, we know." Alan sighed. "Just tell me how that works out Buzz."
“It will work.” Booster waved his finger in the air. “Buzz is always right-“
“Oh please.” Alan said. "Let me know when you have more, because Ranger ingenuity doesn't seem to be helping us at the moment."
"Since when did you sour?” XR looked at Alan.
“When my daughter turned out to be someone other than who I thought she was.” The man crossed his arms angrily. “So, are we going to find her or not?”
“We are!” XL went to find the LGMs, wanting to enlist their aid.
“Tell the police bots to put out wanted posters on her.” Commander Nebula said. “A fugitive is a fugitive. Somebody’s bound to bring Renee in.”
