Really? Mine is very sweet and gentle, he never bites and even gets along with my cavalier just fine.

Wow, you're lucky. My girl is an absolute bitch XDD I'm the only one who can pat her, and even then she hates that. I have friends who own Alexandrines and they say that it's a trait they all share.
