Well, "non-odd" in this context has both a taste and plausibility dimension. I along with many other people have serious universes including anthro characters or those of other non-human species, so it's nice to have some fuel to imagine how they'd look like living, acting, etc. You sometimes provide that*... as well as mid-transition pics and more implausible, often fetishistic stuff that I don't care for†, but I'm sure others do (and good for them).

*For instance, Mary Harvey Kowalski (1955–1984 [human]; 1984– [anthro red fox]) in my It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow universe would look relatively similar to this , while her daughter Stephanie Kowalski (1993–) would look similar to this .
†This is partially as I want to see how they would look like in reality, or alternate worlds like mine that follow realities' rules, rather than a photorealistic impression of (IMO) a distant and irrelevant fantasy with nigh-unrecognizable—and thus to me, boring—rules and struggles. Like, it's very rare for a person to want to be... this...  which could not really evolve or possibly even be created in the first place, and changes like this  or probably even your typical TFs like this  wouldn't really be survivable (there are reasons why metamorphosis happens slowly). I mean, I do have some fetishes, but they're more... grounded ones. An image created featuring them—which you do not by-and-large make—could be "odd" for others' tastes, yet it would not be "universally odd" as it could well happen realistically.
