Linework I did today for a new Fu. I decided to give 11x14 a shot, and got more than I bargained for with the workload. That long fur is a pain in the ass to draw.I've never had a 4-hour lineart before. D: My hand is still cramping.
Anywho, free to color, credit me with the lineart, etc. etc.

Thank you! I feel like I really have come a long way from the Bell Beast, especially with level of detail. Unfortunately, though, I seem to be making it harder for anyone but me to tell which bit is which. I have one unscanned beastie (not really a Fu, but ornate) that most people think has two heads and no legs. D:
I just bought a couple of green Copics, so I think I'll give those a trial run on this guy.

Yep. Practice makes better. I don't have time anymore...all the art I really get to do nowadays is paint feathers and draw circles/triangles only to discuss how the size and arrangement of such shapes creates a greater visual effect...blah blah blah...

My break starts October 7 and ends the 12th...yeah...very short
My house is under SEVERE renovations so getting together here would probably not be the best. We have no official bathroom as of now and our house is a WRECK because all of our bathroom supplies and toiletries have been moved to our living room. We have no washer or drier installed so laundry is also in the living room (and kitchen for some reason). Hopefully when all that chaos is done with (in about a month or so), I'll be able to have you over and we'll actually have a PLACE to be geeky in (our new project/art room

Ngh, mine ends the 11th, but I'm visiting SCAD in the 9th and 10th. Maybe some weekend.
Well we just finished renovation in the basement so it's all shiny and nice now.
I'm also having a Halloween party if you're interested. We'll watch some zombie movies, play some video games, and then dress up and be weird at the neighbors.

At the other party I was invited to, the host is planning to have everyone play "Capture the Flag" in the woods...at night...in our costumes. Totally sweet. I did it last year and we hadz a BLAST!!!!
Maybe what I'll do is if yours starts early enough, I'll go to yours for awhile and then scoot over to the other party. The capture-the-flag party is later at night anyways, staring around 6 and ending about 10. If your starts in mid afternoon, I would better able to make it
My costume wouldn't be scary, just nifty...

It's definitely getting colored. It took all my self-control not to color it while waiting at the library. I wanted to take some progress shots for once, to show people how I color. I color weird. Rather than blocking and then gradually adding more and more detail, I pick a spot and finish it completely and then radiate out from there. I do the same think with inking.

I know, I've seen you color... The only time you do blocking is when one color of your markers is running out and it hasn't had time to spontaneously reproduce...
