First of all, I don't know why the scan quality is so atrocious. I'll scan it again and mess with the settings until it looks decent.So I decided to do green and yellow because I'm pretty obstinate when it comes to color XD Go figure. If it ain't red, it's gonna be green and gold.

I finally started drafting out the pattern for the mask rendition of this fu and lemme tell ya...it's going to take a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time to finish...all that detail...
Btw, I will need written permission by you to be able to sell the mask (which I really want to do because this mask is going to eat my leather and life). I will pay you a percentage. I'm thinking for the amount of leather, work, and detail I'm gonna sell it for no less than $350.

No need to pay me. I'll owe you anyway for helping me with my Giacomo costume. Speaking of which, I changed the design some. It should be easier, actually. If you've already started, no worries.
And don't worry about pauldrons, either. I'm buying some replica late-medieval German ones in plate steel. They're very nice indeed.

Basically write something up to that effect and sign it in ink. I have not started on the Giacomo vambraces yet because I still need the design and I will need some money to get started. Good news! I finally got a sewing awl and rivets so I won't have to stick only to gluing.

Here are my basic plans for the vambraces [link]
-They should be black or grey leather with silver or bronze/brass buckles.
-The zipper can be platic, but I'd really prefer metal. It doesn't matter which end the zippy slidey thing is on.
-Don't worry about the seams unless you want to.

Anyways, I should not have much problem making those. I should be able to start on them after the International Folk festival in Fayetteville (I'm working as a vendor). I will then hopefully have extra money to spend to get the supplies for your bracers and then you can pay me back later

I really don't know. I imagine someone else in my family used the scanner and messed with my settings. Is 300ppi where I want it or should I go for a higher resolution?

I think that 300ppi is a good configuration for a good quality. This might solve your problem.
