NOT official because hes not mine!! just wanted a reference to put all of the information ive made up about my version of him!

Name: Zachariah ( means "god remembers", a reference to his backstory )
Gender: Presents male, uses male pronouns
Orientation: Demiromantic Asexual, fancies other boys!

Personality: Curt, ill-tempered, and generally pessimistic, Zachariah doesn't really strike anyone as a good individual to be around, much less befriend. He's rough, pompous, and all around has an ironic "holier-than-thou" attitude about him-- but that's really just a cover. The ex-angel didn't always used to be this way, and he truly has a heart of gold beneath his icy exterior; he's loyal, determined, and has a soft spot for the kindhearted, and the waterdog is very protective over those he's put his trust into...though to win that trust is a battle that not many would attempt to fight.
Despite his faults, Zachariah can be very intelligent, thinking through all of his decisions before he makes a choice. Not much of a risk taker, he likes sticking to things he knows much about and has experienced, and isn't much of the adventurous type. This kind of behavior used to earn him affectionate teasing, the other blessed waterdogs that liked him often calling him very "straight-laced" and "prudent", whereas the ones who didn't just assumed he had a huge stick up his ass.

After he fell, however, he grew a sharp chip on his shoulder. Now, it's not uncommon to find him with a snarl on his muzzle and a glare in your direction.

History: Zachariah was created as a well-trusted, loyal servant to the waterdog god. Sure and accurate in his advice and his assignments, he quickly grew favor with the benevolent being, earning him a very respected place as an archangel, and in this position he served well. Centuries passed, however, and the archangel began to grow bitter. He was devoted, intelligent, and always assisted his superior with whatever they needed without any flaw, so why was he not the god's most favoured creation and servant? Why were his acts of loyalty never recognized? Surely, surely he was the most flawless of his master's creations, beyond a doubt; yet the god continuously created more and more of their likeness, which struck Zachariah as a testament to his superior's fading fondness of the archangel. Thoughts like these continued to run through his mind, and his insecurities--though he never acknowledged them as such--continued to grow. With this, Zach's heart grew more consumed with darkness with each passing day. The angel first began messing up in his assignments, then purposely sabotaging them, to finally failing them altogether; actions which saddened his creator. However, this could have been forgiven, and were, for a time. Zachariah lost his position, but he was too consumed with jealously and paranoia to pay it much mind...until his beloved god found a new favourite.

The new archangel was everything Zachariah was not: empathetic, kind, gentle-hearted, you name it, and this made him absolutely furious. By now, there was no saving him from his rage, and the poor newly appointed archangel had to bear the brunt of it, dealing with Zachariah's taunts, snapping, criticism and general bullying. However, the other angel had a very loving and forgiving soul, and never blamed or returned any of Zach's anger, easily dispelling any fight before it began. However, Zachariah, even in his clouded mind, still was just as smart as he used to be, and saw right through the archangel's passiveness, and plotted to take out the angel once and for all. Gathering a few other waterdogs with their own vendettas against his enemy, he launched an attack against the kind archangel. This time, there was no dispelling or calming Zachariah, and the angel was forced to fight back. However, the archangel only had time to temporarily blind one of Zachariah's eyes and rip one of his legs off before the benevolent god themselves intervened, halting the scuffle instantly with not even a blink. Zachariah, momentarily snapped out of his rage by the god's presence, saw his grave mistake and tried to plead for forgiveness...but, unfortunately, the ex-archangel had run out of chances, and he was thrown out of the plane of which the god existed, sentenced to a life of shame and mortality with the mortal waterdogs that the ex-archangel, now fallen angel, had so despised.

With a clear mind, Zachariah now seeks retribution and forgiveness from his god, seeing the error of his ways. His heart is no longer consumed by bitterness and hatred, but he still has anger for the archangel that stole his place in his god's heart.
