Description
I’m experimenting with my camera…this series is a lot different from my normal subject matter. I’m angered by the fact that my family wants to tear this beautiful barn down. Old barns are architectural gems…sadly they are rapidly disappearing to neglect, urban sprawl, and people dismantling them to reuse their wood. This barn has stood for over a century. The people who built it put so much hard work and craftsmanship into building it. It’s sad to think of it being torn down, in my opinion it deserves to stand where it has been the last hundred and so years. There’s nineteen photographs in this series.Related content

No it's not that colour… It used to be red on the outside, but now the paint has dulled, and is peeling. I enriched the colour with the settings on my camera, and I also accented with red. (I'm not sure how to explain it... you know me I can do things... but I can't explain very well!! lol) Thanks!

I never thought of it that way....but it really does seem that way when I look it now. Very ethereal like... Thank you for your perspective.

wow, thats an awesome angle to take a phot on, i live it, it gives you the feeling of height by how high the barn is, like were actually with you taking the picture.
