🐉💕 Opheliaverse 💕🐉
This drawing has been sitting around for about 2+ years now and I've decided that there's a 99% chance that I'm not actually gonna finish it, so I thought I'd might as well just share what I have done for it as well as the writing that Moon was kind enough to whip up for it. Hope you enjoy!

The café around the large powerhouse of a stallion was calm. The usual hustle and bustle of the early hours had relaxed, and only a few of the hardcore regulars stuck behind. Casey rustled his curly locks, and took a long drag from his dying cigarette. A long, drawn out sigh escaped his lips with the exhale of smoke. His torn ear twitches as he hears a familiar laugh, and his heart beats a little faster.
“Is that so, Retro Dash, you’ll get me backstage?” Coffee Cake smirks, batting her long lashes at the young Pegasus “Rockstar”. Retro Dash swirled his glass in his hand before setting it back on the counter.

“Oh, of course, it’ll be way too easy. Especially with your gorgeous looks, they’ll let us in no problem.” Retro Dash smiles widely, as Coffee Cake lets out another flirtatious giggle. When Retro Dash looks down at his drink, Coffee Cake glances out of the corner of her eye and smirks.

Casey didn’t even know why he was there, in her café. I mean she was the love of his life, and he wasn’t over her. He certainly wasn’t ready when she decided she no longer wanted to be “Mrs. Applebuck”. He wasn’t ready when she started chatting up his best friend. He didn’t blame Retro Dash, not at all, he knew exactly how intoxicating she could be. He didn’t think it was even possible to live without her. When hearing Retro Dash invite her on a date he couldn’t help but let out an annoyed growl. What could he have possibly done that made her get cold hooves and run to his best friend?

With another sigh, he picked up his coffee mug, though it no longer held coffee and had something much stronger and of his own creation in it. Taking a long, big swig of his drink, he decides to stay. The café held some of the happiest moments in his life so far, and he did his best to remember those times. He couldn’t help the annoyed expression that would cross his face from time to time when Retro Dash would speak. He chose to sit, and suffer in silence in the remnants of his past. If only, just to hear her laugh again.
