I actually did this last night after drawing Pinkamina cause I needed something a bit cheerier. I just was too tired to post it. I really need to find a tutorial for grass and stuff....

Grass is tricky to do no matter which way you do it. This doesn't look too bad, really-- just happens to look like a freshly-mowed hill.
That said, this picture is adorable. These two seriously need more love as a pairing.

I think this grass looks great though.... it fits the style you draw in.

I think the grass looks good. BronyontheWay seems to have a cool technique for doing hair/grass in his pics.
Pinkie's hair is nicely shaded though, I like it.

I noticed pretty much every picture you do is Pinkie.
I do like the way he does hair, but not being a drawfriend, I have no idea how hard it is to do.

I just did a quick count, and its actually close to 50% of pony pictures. Thats still a lot of Pinkie though...Maybe I need to embargo her.
It looks like it'd either take a lot of time to do all the little strokes or you'd need a brush to do it for you. Either way, seems kind of tough.
