This is, I think, the most accomplished shot of the series : the photograph is appealingly layered, with a succession of plans drawing the eye towards the misty horizon, while the colour palette, very effective in itself (russet and blue, always a winning combination...), is nicely enhanced by the the play of light in the water. Slightly hypnotic and very immersive, this leaves a strong impression, like the snapshot of a dream.
