Finally, you can see all 15 transformations of Nia - side by side to compare how much she has changed with each of the new magical power up

This is my idea to celebrate 15 years of Winx. I wanted to create myself a challenge #15yearsofwinx in which I tried to draw Nia in each of the 15 transformations we've got
Luckily enough, this is one of the projects I planned for 2019 that actually panned out and I managed to finish it I am so happy with it!

Let's get into some details, shall we?

Magic Winx!
This is Nia's regular transformation, the first one she received (even if It was not the first transformation I made for her. She actually had to wait quite some time for me to design her regular MW. Since, she is more like a warrior than not, she had to have some comfortable shoes. Hence the combat boots. Of course with a little bit of sparkle to make it cohesive. Her weapon of choice would be a sword or something simmilar, but oh well... Scepter of Aftershock might do too When not needed, it turns itself into small, bomb-like ball, Nia stashes into her pocket. Yes, the shorts have pockets, cuz she's a practical fairy ^^.
Her hair has side shaves, because why not?

Charmix!
As an add-on this power up gives Nia a charm pinned into her cuff (this is actually an idea of NiaTayn , who included it into an an Art-Trade from way back : Art-Trade: Nia Charmix ). I really like the idea so I went with it and gave Nia a fannypack to finish it up in Nia style.

Enchantix!
And here comes drama... This is the first transformation I designed for Nia back when I started getting into the fandom. I have a strong love-hate relationship with this design. It is so strong, that at one point (you might not remember that), I changed her wings design into something completely different: Nia's Enchantix wings 2.0 - idea scrapped . Finally after more and more thinking, I came to conclusion, that her original Enchantix wings were perfect for her. They are Dragonfly inspired and each of the little pairs can flutter on thier own, making Nia's Enchantix flight as precise as Dragonfly's.

Believix!
This is probably one of the most changed over years design of Nia's transformations. Almost everything got tweaked, just look at it yourself, comparing to the first Nia's Believix transformation picture: Nia Believix old . It's been quite a journey, but I think that the final result is satisfactory, so It stays this way

Sophix!
This is a funny story, this time including my dear lovely friend NatalieSaly , whom you might know as her previous name Bblova. One of my Winx Mentors who later on became a friend of mine wanted to help me out with Sophix and Lovix and so, Nat actually designed Nia's Sophix and Lovix as they are I couldn't come up with better designs

Lovix!
Same story, same story Fun fact - Nat made sure that every detail is practical - the dark soles of Nia's boots is actually a rubber sole - making sure that no surface is slipery for a Fairy of Explosions and Implosions Notice how the Lovix design nods to the original Believix form of Nia with the small knee warmer which was present on first design of Nia's Believix.

Harmonix!
One of my favourite ever Winx transformations (right after Enchantix, of course). This is the time I decided to introduce some more colours into Nia's transformations pallette. that is why you might notice some blueas and energetic orange! most of the outfit is in the colours of Nia's Magix Winx, though. Her hair is as long as Enchantix ones. This is one of the most feminine looks of Nia.

Sirenix!
Look who's back! The side-shave! This time only one side, but still with some edginess Nia's Sienix skirt is FIRE! Or it reminds me of fire, which I love as she can kick some underwater asses now ^^

Bloomix!
Oh this one was FUN! This design is like a month old now, which means it was one of the last designs of Nia's transformations I made. Actually the last one I really like Bloomix! It reminds me of warriors, knights and so on. I didn't want to ruin it for Nia, and that is why I waited so long to finally give it a go. I made a lot of sketches, especially for the hairstyle and hair pieces. At some point Nia was supposed to have a helmet, but then I decided to go with typical Bloomix tiara instead. Of course I had to turn things up a notch and that is why Nia got her viking's hairstyle, with sideshaves and braids It completes the warrior look I wanted for her. Additional fun fact: her claves spikes were supposed to be on fire/smoking, but then I decided that it'd be a litttlllle too much

Mythix!
Mythix... the transformation pretty basic and meh for me. I didn't even see much of it in the show, since I didn't watch that part of the season much (I don't like the 3D style they put them in, so I skipped that part of the story). Funny to say, but in the end Nia's Mythix is one of my favourite Nia's transformation. I love the wand with the Flaming Dragon Egg top, her dress and shoes. The fact that she has such a delicate and light make up makes her look so innocent and feminine once again. And let's not forget the wings - they are quite damaged, teared in places. It is supposed to look like something exploded and she protected herself with the wings.

Butterflix!
Butterflix! Or how I like to call Nia's - Mothix! It is actually what I just wrote. Nia's Butterflix is inspired by Moths - butterflies of the night. I wanted to keep it a bit gloomy, toxic and dark for some reason. Nia has the full collar, reminding me of the furry torsos of moths and her headpiece looks like some Antenae. Also, frilly shorts! Inspired by fuzzy legs of moths xD

Tynix!
Yet another of this year's creations I am not a big fan of Tynix myself, but I really like Nia in this transformation, since it is basically a shattered glass dress. It suits the explosive powers of my Green haired fairy so well. Though this time, Nia looks a bit brighter, with her hair much lighter than usual. I really liked the idea of changing her hair a bit just to see how different she's look in such a Tynix! Her hairstyle is kept simple, with a hairpin and two small strands of bangs to her face. It softens Nia's face a bit. For some reason, I wanted the dress to be very symetrical so the glass pieces are on both sides and she has some frilly collar, like in some of the previous transformations.

Dreamix!
Oh, I just love how well Nia transitioned into WoW style This was quite a challenge for me since I don't do much of Couture style of winx drawings. I think that I did well this time. Nia's orange overshirt balances out the tight bodysuit she has I also thought about a see through overdress, but then decided to give her a flowy scarf to represent the Dreamix sashes each of the Winx fairies has Simple ponytail to keep her hair away from the scarf and she's ready to go

Onyrix!
Finally! The secondary colour of a fairy plays the main role! I was very excited thinking about Onyrix, knowing that I finally can play with some other colours than purples. Since I really liked to try oranges more, I decided to give her a fullbody golden outfit. I think it paid off, making her very unique to other transformations. her bell-bottoms went through some changes as well. First they were supposed to be plain, then asimetrical and in the end she got some frilly, asimetrical ones. to make the design cohesive, I decided to give her asimetrical sheer parts of the bodice. It's one of my favourite Nia's to this day.

Cosmix!
Yes. The era of winx girls went weird this year. Instead of giving us something special and fans-oriented with season 8, we got a reboot for younger children, kinda leaving the current fans out for some reason. I won't go into details, since I don't want any argument, but As it's the transformation of the season, I decided to give it a go, and designed Nia her very own Cosmix I also decided to try and draw it in the 'updated' style.
Tbh I really like the outcome of the design. I will definitely draw Nia in Cosmix in the future, most likely on the regular, original style of Winx, though. I also think that in normal style, her hair will be somewat shorter

That being said, I would like to conclude this long description. It's been quite a year (still is, lol) and I had so much fun doing this project. I don't regret any minute spent on it, since I finally could spend some more time with Nia for the occassion of 15 anniversary of the cartoon she was born from. The only thing I wish could be added is the short comic I planned to accompany this project, but oh well
