It's a well-known fact - Finn loves PB, but PB won't even give him the time of day. In general, unfortunately, Finn wasn't blessed with the typical hero's ability of always getting the girl. Oh, well.... Princess Bubblegum might've rejected him any amount of times, but we still got Marceline!!!! XDBTW... I don't own Adventure Time. Shocker, ain't it???

Well since it's been 2 years since I drew this, Imma have to say that while they're obviously no longer a thing, their relationship has obviously been deconstructed and built in a way that goes way against the standard Hero-Damsel cliche. They're not perfect and never were, either of them. The ship was sunk when they realized that perfect cliched relationship didn't exist for them. They became disillusioned. But because they developed so much as well-rounded characters and grew out of the cliche though, I still feel bad they couldn't get a happy ending together. They have many more aspects to their personalities and their relationship than I believe Mario and Peach ever will.

Aww, how cute, but so sad.
To be honest, I really don't see PB/Finn working out. It's very clear that Finn has more fun when he hangs out with Marceline than he does with PB, and their chemistry is better. So yeah, IMO, I don't feel that Finn would truly be happy with PB. As Marceline said, "You'll be bored with her in a week".
Now, I really don't have anything Princess Bubblegum, and I actually like her; I just don't like pairing her with Finn.
