Well, I always did see Captain Hook as a victim of Peter Pan, more than a villain. I mean, sure, he did threaten to kill the kids in the original story but it was Pan's fault for making him like that. He endlessly torments, tortures and humiliates Captain Hook, it kind of feels difficult to not feel sorry for the guy. Pan treats everything like a game. He really is not the best role model to be honest. I really love how they took this whole Peter Pan was the real villain theory to a whole new level, by making him the nastiest, selfish, ruthless and most evil character in Once Upon a Time. Most people say he's their favourite villain because he's "hot", while I just think he's the best villains because of how much he works as a villain.
