Everyone can draw them how they want. Some people draw them as alicorns. I didn't. I originally had Elsa as a unicorn but people complained when she was the only unicorn with the disney princesses. I just default to earth pony usually.

Well, it makes sense that Elsa would be a unicorn, though. She is the only princess that can actually use magic, after all.
