Say hello to Calcifer, the fire demon, from "Howl's Moving Castle"! I have him about to bite into a piece of wood. Nom nomnom!!Calcifer character is (c) to his author, Diana Wynn Jones and "Howl's Moving Castle" (c) to Disney Studios and Studio Ghibli Productions
I created this project for the dA Knitters Club '“Let’s Go to The Movies Contest” [link]
I fell in love with this movie and, thanks to my children, I watch it nearly every day!
I love Calcifer's smart remarks and his good 'heart'. He measures about 13ins. by 14 ins. He was worked with single, double, triple chain crochet. He has only a few felt and fleece embellishments.

Just noticed this before heading to sleep, absolutely adorable heheh. I love it dear, I can imagine the amount of work you put into this. The fraying at the tips and mouth add a wonderful feel to it, though it seems kinda shocked in appearance. Sadly never seen Howl's moving castle, might have to pick it up.

Oh yes..this little spitfire took me a LONG time to finish. Im VERY proud of him. He hangs right in the front foyer so he can munch on his log and watch everything. hehe <3
