"Yeah, uh... it doesn't hurt as bad when I'm sitting..."
"Hm... I'll go downstairs in a minute and see if I can brew some painkillers. Maybe if you get more than an hour of sleep you'll stop feeling dizzy and sick, and you'll be able to walk for more than a few minutes..."

Well... I dunno, I like the idea of the flux acting more parasitic towards Lalna, eventually to the point where it starts looking kinda gangrenous and starts causing him pain, especially on his back. I imagine it's really bad on his back, since it bleeds through his lab coat so easily (and trust me, it takes a lot to get through a lab coat, those things are durable).
But yeah, so where the flux gives Nano power, it takes it away from Lalna. What Nano sees on his back are gaping wounds and peeling skin and what look like blisters that keep oozing purple shit... gross, right? It's also mixed with some radiation poisoning, because when they nuked the castle he fell into the fluxy radioactive waste.
I dunno. I felt like I haven't hurt anybody in a while, so here.

The way I see it, the flux needs a good host. Since flux is sort of the essence of chaos, it needs a chaotic and unstable host, and Kim is too mentally stable to be a good host, where as Duncan is kinda insane, so he's an excellent host. That's why the flux seems to spread much faster on him.

No, they're different things. Multiple personality disorder is when someone randomly switches between completely different people in the same body. For example, one day a regular business man could suddenly think he's a ballerina named Daisy.
There are multiple types of schizophrenia, but the most dangerous is paranoid schizophrenia. That's when you hear voices in your head and think the whole world is out to get you and that the government has put a chip in your arm and that's when you see things and hear things. Those are really the only dangerous schizophrenics, pretty much all other types are very mild and not dangerous. Schizophrenia appears most commonly in men between the ages of 15 and 25. I know my shit when it comes to psychological disorders, I took a few years of psychology and we talked about this stuff extensively.

Don't worry, only about 1 in 500,000 people get it. You have a better chance of getting it if it runs in your family, seeing as the trait for it is inherited most of the time. So unless you have a schizophrenic parent, there's no need to worry. Also, my birthday is in July as well! July 2, I'll be turning 19.

Uh, no you don't. Schizophrenia is a chronic illness, meaning once you have it you're stuck with it for life. And if you want to experience voices in your head and visions and paranoia, do drugs when you're legal. I don't recommend it though.

I actually saw how that happened. It was because when she was shooting her rocket launcher at Trott, she accidentally stuck her head in the flux gas. I've noticed a glitch that happens where, even once the effect wears off, the icon still stays there, like when Duncan was nauseous the whole episode. She wasn't actually poisoned the whole time, the icon just glitched out and stuck there.
