Happy holidays! Also, quick question, how different does it feel to draw on a tablet compared to an actual pencil on paper?

So, with my old tablet it was really different. Pencil and paper is so easy and simple. Just pick it up and draw. With my old tablet, it had no screen so I couldn’t physically see where my pen was, and I spent like five years training my brain to understand how my pen and what was on screen connected. With my new tablet, which does have a screen, I can see exactly where my pen is going and what it’s doing, so it’s far more similar to drawing with a pencil and paper. How does it feel? Obviously it’s a bit different for each. With pencil and paper I’m more careful because there’s no magic undo button, but with a tablet I can have more freedom to just fuck around and practice. Hope that answers your question!

Alright, good to know. Right now I'm doing pencil drawings in a sketch book, taking a picture of it with my phone, then uploading it on here. So far the quality has been pretty decent, however that's only because they've been relatively simple drawings. I recently uploaded a picture of a city scape I drew for a fictional city I've come up with and it didn't come out quite as clear as I would have liked. But hey, what are you gonna do?

Depends on the camera really. I had a scanner, but it washed things out a lot so I usually resorted to pictures with my phone. Either way, just have fun drawing.

It’s an xp-pen artist 16. It’s huge and has a big screen and buttons and a pen charger and a billion wires haha. But it works pretty well once I got it set up.
