you cannot run away from the pain, because the pain is needed to create. It is happiness, it is sadness, it is an imprisonment, and it is freedom. As an artist, and a living person, one cannot do without either worlds, and thus we, as artists, must carry both burdens, in this place where reality and our own worlds meet....reuploading ID/painting....

Where do you get your inspiration for these conceptual drawings?

for this one, i said up there that i got my inspiration from this american literature essay in english literature class xD~ he was explaining how an artist is meant to show the society freedom and such and the artist cannot live without the society and yet it cannot live with the society, because if you live without the society, people cannot relate to your art and therefore it's basically useless, and if you live within the society, then your art becomes something like propaganda because your thoughts are all disrupted by the society of this age....
...yah, something along those lines xD~ it was a very interesting essay

Wow, amazing art. I love the idea it portrays and especially how the brick wall turns into a sky. They're two very contrasting things and I love the message it plays out so much. The shading is brilliant, especially on the bricks and her shoes, that really catches my attention. The detail on her on her tie is awesome
