Description
Oil painting on 11 x 14 canvas, using alla prima technique (wet-on-wet)took about 4-6 hours. reference used [link] . Still need to practice more though; can't control the brush as well as i'd like yet. I keep wiping off colours i put on before with the brush accidentally when trying to put on more colours. Maybe I'm using too much oil to dilute it.

I love your color blending. I can't wait to see more traditional work, especially paintings, from you. This is gorgeous. c;

I think that this is very lovely, the brush strokes really make it interesting and add to the realism & I really love how it is both so light and dark at the same time, the tones and contrast are very nice.

This might seem weird, but, I see evil in her. Hard to explain.
The composition is beautiful and wonderful craftsmanship.

This is beautiful. It's difficult to master most paints, especially oil. Great work (:

great, I love the different colors you used for the skin. and oil painting is difficult as hell.. it sure takes a while to get used to it!

I fav'd this at school so I couldn't comment then.
Wow, I like it. You said that you keep removing colours, I do that too but with acrylics, because my under layers are really washy and I don't wait for them to dry. I suppose oils would be harder since they never completely dry.
That said, I like the smoothness of the paint and the background, though simple, has interesting depth. The blotchiness of the colour on the skin adds a realism to it, making it quite luminous.
