While I greatly appreciate you taking the time to look at my art,
i don't appreciate that the only comment you left was making assumptions about how I view a character, even though I've never said anywhere before my reasons for not liking her.

Either leave a compliment or constructive criticism or just something relevant to the art itself if you're going to comment,

but please don't come to my art looking for an argument
and then, presumably, ignore my actual opinion when I give it to you :I

but i haven't given any reasons as to why i don't like her? Please don't assume that my reasons are the same as anyone else's because i don't hate her outright.


And lol I'm not "Serena-phobic". I like her, I'm just glad she's not going with Ash to Alola.

They made her to be a love-interest first and foremost, and then tacked on the showcase stuff because maybe they realized how boring and one-track-minded she was coming off as(to me anyway >->''). Especially because they shoe-horned her into his past which went nowhere; he didn't consider that moment as important or life-changing as she did, even though that moment meant a great deal to her.

He didn't even remember it happened at first and showed his usual levels of obliviousness towards her affections like he did to his former female companions'. It would hurt her more if Ash continued to show no interest in her if they did travel together in Alola. Even if it is a little crush that she has on him, it is pretty much going nowhere.

Tl;Dr: I definitely would have liked her more if they had just introduced her as a new character who didn't start having romantic feelings for Ash until they began traveling together, and  maybe Ash gradually developing feelings for her as well. However, the way they went about it in the show wasn't very fair to Serena. Ash hardly showed any interest in her despite all the blatant times she showed interest in him. I think it would be healthier for Serena to let Ash go, and work on her dreams of becoming Kalos Queen (or whatever it is I'm sorry i didn't watch many of the showcase episodes ;o; )

Also, it's not because I ship Ash with anyone besides her, honestly, I ship Ash with no one. But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the ships other people like. :> I think Amourshipping can be pretty cute at times.


EDIT: I edited this several times because it didn't properly convey my feelings towards her/ or the structure sucked/ or i put too many "because"s. :I
