GOAL
▹First goal is to his job, which means protecting Adelaide. Secondary goal is to win. He does enjoy winning when possible.

RELATIONSHIP TO ADELAIDE
▹Ven and Adelaide have a friendly relationship, much like two side characters from a sitcom. Adelaide says something, Ven makes an agonizing pun, Adelaide groans, the audience laughs. Ven rarely takes conversation with anyone seriously and Adelaide is not exempt from his jokes. But she is a clear soft spot for him. Ven's relationship to Adelaide might seem surprising to some considering he's a high ranked demon that could easily do whatever he wanted in any given moment. Her magical abilities don't match his powers and he towers over her. He may be her bodyguard, but he's under no true obligation to do as she says. Yet Ven is very obviously wrapped around her finger. He ultimately respects her choices and opinions on anything and does not fight her unless absolutely necessary. Though he may tease her or question a decision she might make, he rarely pushes her and does not raise a hand against her. And neither will you, if you know what's good for you.

BODY MORPHING
▹Ven's body is made out of tar and bone and is very flexible in form. He prefers the beefy lumberjack look and doesn't do much to change it, but he can morph his tar into a multitude of things and use the endless supply of bone inside him as a weapon. The easiest thing for him to do is "unravel" his tar into multiple tentacles to strike at his opponent or grab at something.

REGENERATION
▹If any part of Ven's body is cut off in some way, he can regenerate it, and any bone that had been lost inside, in a matter of seconds. However, if someone keeps coming at him with enough strength to do this multiple times, it will be harder and take longer each time.
▹He can no longer control what is broken off of him, it all melts into tar after a short period of time.

  A demon made of tar, bone, and musical numbers. Ven has been in the mortal realm for over 500 years and humanity has certainly changed him from the base sin he once embodied. Though he wouldn't call himself an angel, by any stretch of the word. He's not shy in laying down hard truths or hitting below the belt when necessary, and his employment to one of the meanest pixies in the city doesn't leave his hands completely clean. However he's gained some sense of morality. He's slow to strike out unless stricken first, he doesn't needlessly hurt those who can't hurt him, and he only kills when he or his employer can justify it. Ven looks intimidating, for good reason, but he is relatively harmless to most. It's easy to get along with him if you can just laugh at his jokes or sing along to his tunes.

  But one shouldn't mistake his cheery disposition as trust. Ven trusts a very select few, if anyone, and doesn't share details about himself aside from likes and dislikes. He expects to be betrayed and hated. He doesn't blame anybody - he's a demon after all.
