I have a question... How did you exactly shade this piece?I would be very grateful for an answer, it'd help me develop my skills

i used 2 layers for each colour: one for base, and another for the shades. for the shades, i duplicated the base layer and darken the colour. then i erase the areas that shouldnt have shadings. lock both layers, then choose a darker colour than the base. use a soft edge brush to shade parts of the base. same method used for shades layer.
did that helps? sorry i'm not good at explaining things.
