Wasn't sure if anyone was ever going to do one of these, so I figured I'd be the first! My own personal alignment chart for the various cast members of the DreamKeepers graphic novel saga!

*SPOILERS For The Un-Enlightened!!!*

Lawful Good - Lilith Calah

This should be easy to understand. Lilith is the kind of girl who was raised to do what is right without resorting to violence. She is smart, bright and negotiable. She seeks out knowledge and plans out moves instead of going into something head-on with little to no thought or information behind the action.

Neutral Good - Mace

While Mace is clearly a good guy and would do anything to keep his friends out of danger, he is also out on his own personal agenda to get revenge on the slaying of his close friend, Paige and to clear his and Whip's name of her death. This has led to disastrous results, as well as crushing revelations, that could've jeopardized the entire group as a whole. Still, he has his friend's well-being in mind and in heart, so he does what he does for what he believes to be for the greater good.

Chaotic Good - Namah Calah

Rocket science isn't needed to see this alignment. And, Namah herself would agree. Namah tends to be highly energetic and manic when it comes to taking action. She is prone to speaking like she is a higher being while blasting a security guard with safety foam with a razor-sharp grin on her face. Her history as a child with the guards assigned to keep her contained in her room backs this alignment perfectly.

Lawful Neutral - Viscount Calah

The Viscount of Anduruna is clearly blind to both the corruption surrounding Tinsel Nanaja and the disadvantages of outlawing Power use. As leader, he is widely known for being a man concerned only with the polls evaluating his job and keeping Tinsel satisfied. He enforces the laws that have already been written before his terms in office, not knowing they will lead to the downfall of the country should the Nightmares invade. Because of his arrogance and inability to see the truth, he has not only become a pawn, but will soon become a victim to the horrid truth behind those who he thought he loved and trusted.

True Neutral - Kalei

It is painfully clear that Kalei and her sister, Jeneviv, have a very important purpose. Jeneviv's purpose has already been carried out. We have yet to see, however, what Kalei's purpose in the grand scheme's of evil is. So far, she has shown little signs of mental activity, refusing to speak to others or react with basic motions. It is unclear what has happened with her since her brief appearance in Volume 1 and it is unclear who's side she is truly on, so because of her complete lack of activity and affiliation, she is, by my opinion, the most neutral character in the novel thus far.

Chaotic Neutral - Bast

Many fans of the book may argue about this alignment, so hear me out. Almost all of Bast's actions seem to be fueled by only one thing: Lilith. From tracking down her pet ryuu-neko to travelling up the mountains to giving false information to dark dreamkeeper cells, Bast seems to be driven by the Viscount's daughter, who has clearly caught his heart. However, his brazen attempt to deceive the enemy nearly costed him his life. The result of this action also brought out the City Guard, who caused massive property damage to stop the dark dreamkeepers. Bast is prone to making decisions that could become disastrous in little to no time, all in an effort to protect Lilith Calah.

Lawful Evil - Nabonidus

Clearly this entity is evil, whether he be dreamkeeper or Nightmare. However, unlike the Nightmares, he wishes to enslave the dreamkeeper race rather than destroy it. This could lead to a civilization where all are controlled under the heels of Nabonidus; a society of order and security. He eliminates only those who may expose him or his contacts or who have beared witness to the Nightmares existence and lived. He is calculated in his plots and has many agents working for him in many layers of Anduruna's society.

Neutral Evil - Tinsel Nanaja

Tinsel is a pop star, politician and traitorous agent to Nabonidus. She is determined to circumvent both Andurunan law and Nabonidus' will to get what she wants and do what she wants. She is clearly out to accomplish her own goals and frame her own co-horts.

Chaotic Evil - Lord Void

The immortal leader of the Nightmare hordes, Void seeks nothing but the total annihilation and extinction of the dreamkeeper people. Because of the battle for control with Nabonidus, Void has yet to set his armies on the march. While Nabonidus' plan is not to be accepted nor forgiven, it is safe to assume he has much better intentions for dreamkeepers than the Nightmare Lord himself.
