Nice shot buddy, you have him with sharp eyes (I'm jealous ).
If it wasn't for his fashionable little bracelets he would look very natural against the green trees there.

ITS MOTHERFUCKING HEDWIG. *fangirl screech*
Just kidding. I like this though. Very good shot. (I see we have the same camera, and probably the same lens... That makes me very happy also.)

Its the 55-300. Its cool, but real slow. In both autofocus and aperture. Oh well. Its what i have to work with, lol. If I had to do it again I'd probably go for the 70-300

It certainly makes for less camera shake ...i can recommend the battery pack too..

Yeah, I'e been looking at that. But my battery lasts forever with just one, so it is sort of hard to justify.

It helps to balance a longer lens too so shots are more stable,i think mine was about £35,how many shots do you take in a full days shooting?.

Hmm... depends. I've taken anywhere from around 150 to 700 one day.

So, So easy. I'm still in high school... and I blew half my summer job money on a camera body, lens, and paraphernalia. Oops.

Yep... a d90, a 55-300, a 50 mm, a bag, an extra battery, and a uv filter for the 50mm. and a polarizer for the 55-300, and a uv for it too... Oh, and a bigass SD card. etc.

No regrets whatsoever. Though I might have gotten a 35 mm instead of a 50... whatever, they're so close to the same...
