Cool picture. I plan to use this as one of my drawing projects. Do you know anything about him, like maybe what country, maybe rank and other things?

I found out the country...british and from northamptonshire. Royal Army, but I can't tell specifically which regiment or what his rank is, except I'm fairly certain that he's not an officer.

From most family records they`re Privates - so that was great tracking down. All my vintage soldiers are English - I`ll have to look at card for you later but am fairly certain it doesn`t say who, some of them do have regiment though...
Good luck with the drawing will be interesting to see what you do with him...

hopefully better than my most recent posted drawing (Aragorn). I've done more since that but I don't post works often. Luckily for me, I don't have to worry about hair since his hair is covered with that hat. I'm going to try and find some larger paper to do the drawing on so I can show a bit more detail, with better-detailed pictures of the proper insignia I've found online. (the paper I have current access to for all my stuff is 8.5 x 11" printer paper).
