Description
This is a tribute to one of my favorite characters from Diablo 2, The Necromancer.Since Blizzard are only going to include five characters in Diablo 3, and since one of them is the Witch Doctor chances for the Necromancer are looking pretty slim.
SO PLEASE BLIZZARD! PLEASE!!! I want to cast some bone spirit again!!!

Sorry, not going to be a Necromancer. Blizzard's justification was that they already did a good job with the Necromancer in Diablo 2, and if they brought him back he would be either less awesome than he was or something that wasn't the Necromancer. The reason they brought back the Barbarian was because A. they were working on a melee class that was already just like the Barbarian in back story and personality, and B they had room to make him much more awesome.

Yeah I know. I drew this way back, before Blizzard had commented on wether or not they were going to bring back any other character than the Barbarian.

I agree with you!!! The Witchdoctor looks like a copycat to me... not to mention that he reminds me of the aztec girl from the Loki videogame (another Diablo clone)

Blizzard has officially stated that the Witch Doctor does not exclude the Necro, however there is still no guarantee that he will be in the game.
Im starting to get a little skeptical about the new team in charge with making the game. Most the guys from the old Diablo team left Blizzard to work on other stuff (Hellgate London amongst others). I hope the manage to get the atmosphere right.
Don't get me wrong though Im thrilled about Diablo 3 finally coming.

Loki usually scored 7/10 in reviews. The main flaws are a heavy graphic engine that causes slow downs during gameplay, much harder to play than the average hack 'n slash rpg, a health system that forces you to stop and wait seconds before your hp bar fills and boring quests v_v however I'll buy it someday once its price drops enough

Sounds like a pretty decent game. I checked it out and it looks alright. As long as you don't compare it to Diablo its probably a pretty fun experience.
Speaking of health systems. What do you think about the "picking up health" system in diablo 3?

do you mean the health orbs? I'm not sure if I like it or hate it... I don't think it will 'spoil the realism' as someone said (demons that leave uber loot after being killed are not realistic imho) but it might make the game easier. I think it's because Blizzard whants D3 to be a fast multiplayer game, but I prefer the slow dungeon crawling of D1... I never liked players on Battle.net who run like beheaded chickens

If he does not make the cut I at least hope they include him in some later expansion or something. What are your thoughts on the Witch Doctor btw? He kind of steals some of the Necros thunder. :/
