:3I expanded the original with 16 characters, did some small modifications and then put it up here!
All made in Illustrator.

The reason why it doesn't go up to the present day was that it was only supposed to cover the cold war period. :'3

This was a lengthy discussion with my employer at that time. We had to go for something a little less "high-fashion" as most people could not afford nor wear those clothes for various reasons. What you see in ads do not always represent what things were like at that time. We did use a lot of reference images from private photo albums, and you cannot expect people to dress up perfectly at every occasion.
