As of this writing, 90 of you out there, whether it be some troll trying to be funny or some nitwit that can't be @$$*δ to read my journal, have given me llamas.
I don't want them.
I don't need them.
I will not be part of your herd mentality.
I do not mind you trading them with other people, but don't demand one back from me. You will not get it.

I keep getting llamas too, even though i have the anti-llama Group's icon on my profile, even worse i keep getting them from bizarre Community Support people! I got one of someone from the Helpdesk for goshsakes!!
I also got one from this person , if you pay him he will get people to give you Llamas!

Ugh, I don't want any stupid llamas either... and yet I got 150 of them so far. WHY? I even WROTE ON MY DAMN PAGE that I don't want them, and I STILL get them!

Some of mine come from trolls. There was one guy that sent me one, and I told him I didn't want any. His response was "Oh, no need to thank me!" 
Most of them though came from people who don't pay attention... or want you to give them one back. I've had two deviants banned by the mods for harassment. They gave me a llama and demanded one back... constantly.

So far I think the people who give them to me just don't bother to read my page. I also say I hate it when people write "Thanks for the fave" on my page, and they STILL do it. Half of the people who do that are the ones that give me the damn llamas.

It is understandable not to want to spend money or points on the various badges they have here, by why all the Llama hate?

Well, it's really a placebo to cover up what they did to us on April 1. It really serves no useful function whatsoever other than to distract people from the problems DA is having... and the events of April 1.
At the time I announced that I was not amused by DA's little joke along with my dislike of the llama thing. I invited the mods to respond to this. They did by sticking my avatar and signature. I had to buy a premium subscription for a full year (6 mos. wasn't enough)to fix it. Meanwhile, the mods were pointing fingers at each other and one mod who wouldn't respond to me.

I'm guessing you weren't on DA the day that they introduced the llama thing.
April 1 they decided to play a joke by changing everyone's avatars to one of four teams: Edward Cullen, Jacob, Lady Gaga I or Lady Gaga II. This whole llama thing was a placebo to distract us from them doing this. Some of us protested to the mods about this. I made a journal entry about things. (here: [link] ) Because I chose not to blindly follow the herd, I got the shaft more than other people did.

i don't mind the llamas*remind me of pokemon cards. can't do anything with them but it's kinda nice to look at from time to time if you're bord? then again i just like collecting things*
