Description Made with TechArts 3D girl generator s.p.1

This girl is annoying as hell! In the Japanese version, she has a very bad Kansai accent. In the American version, her hick drawl is just awful. She's also egotistical and presumes that the "dark" male character, Iruga loves her, even though he never makes any effort to show this.

When I was at Ikkicon 2008, I saw Ragnarok the Anime being played there. People in the theater were heckling it and having a fun time doing it. Some of the highlights of this were:

Takius: I am looking for the answer to everything.
Crowd (All at once, no less): Forty-two!

When Roan was caught in that spider web, he angsts about not being able to do anything. I shouted in a German accent "No more of that vhining! You vill schmile unt be happy vhile you get killed!"

When Roan was in the same bed with Maya, he was going on about wanting to be in bed with Yuufa. (Why is beyond me.) Two I remember were:
"Well, when you said you wanted to sleep with a girl, you should have been a bit more specific, now shouldn't you?!"
and the even better...
"Well, why don't you go over and sleep with her then!? Jeez, do I have to do all the thinking around here?!"

Julia copyright Studio Gonzo. Frankly, they can have her.

Just saw it, and it's not all that bad, it's just way too much like a lot of other anime theme songs. The music isn't half-bad, even given how less-than-crisp the audio is. I'd rather listen to that than the usual bishie boy bands, wanksta hip-hop, or mindless techno that passes for so many anime theme songs today. The lyrics are a little English-heavy, but so are a lot of other anime theme songs, because English sounds so cool. The content of the lyrics are so vague you could use them in practically anything.
It's no Megumi Hayashibara, no Aya Hirano, no Ai Orikasa, no Yuki Kajiura, nor is it Yoko Kanno. However, it's pleasant enough. Can't speak to the English version, however.

Trust me, if I could find a better version, you'd hear how bad and cliche it sounds.

I've heard of this title, and from this review, it's just as well I passed it by. Although if the MST3K crew decides to heckle anime titles, it's got some stuff to work with here. Nice comebacks, especially the H2G2 line. As for Julia, I agree that the Kansai accent, or the Southern accent in the English dub, can either be really funny (Abenobashi) or really grating (this one). Same goes for the one-sided romance angle. At any rate, she looks good in a maid outfit, but Aisha Clan-Clan (my favorite dark-skinned anime heroine) would be hotter and be less annoying. Nice work.

Yea. If you want a sure-fire party ender, just play the opening theme "We are the Stars" [link] (The English version is even worse, but mercifully doesn't exist online.)
