When I first saw this shot I thought, "Mmmm, yummy!"
I've seen a lot of fruit shots here on dA, but most of them are water splashes. This one immediately caught my eye due to the bright colors jumping out. I love how the background is so soft and simple, but not an all white or all black color.
The light from behind gives a glow around the edges that is very pleasing to the eye. I noticed at least one flash was used on the right, which kind of bothered me because the rest of the picture looks so natural. Nevertheless, this mutant fruit photo is one fantastic shot!
