Sally Acorn, this is based from a Furry Bomb I saw once, and was originally a doodletill I was bored and added some detail for practice, I ended up going all the way with it and I liked the end result, so here you go!

Ohhhh................Sorry man, there was a person who ragged on me saying this was traced, but I told him to look up the original to see that I obviously did'nt, I posted the link to the one page to try to avoid that sort of thing happening again...
I was sent Furry Bomb from a friend once, he thought I'd like it, but I'm just indifferent, to each his own I say!
But ignoring the porn, I did like how the characters were drawn, good proportions, so I used it as a practice and ended up finishing it later.

I know what you mean. I thought that post was a cheap shot, but there seem to be a lot of them on DA. I'm wondering when someone will call my Betty and Veronica traced. Scanned, cleaned up and recolored maybe, but can all-electronic stuff be called "traced"? Idunno, maybe I should take them down.

I get one of those types every now and then, I usually dazzle them with logic or big words!
But i never give into them, and I think you should not either, if you ever get one complaining about your art, I say tell them the truth about it (Like how you made it) I always start out polite, and if they try to be pricks about it I usually throw a bunch of logic at them, and then ignore them, they hate that because they want you to get mad at them!
Never give into them I say!

I know what you mean. I've pretty much stopped posting on the photography forum because of one idiot who seems obsessed with sniping at me. You know the type, all of my equipment is junk because it isn't the most elite, expensive stuff on the market. It's just not worth the effort to hunt him down and have a little face-to-face "Go away, please" session. Ignoring him doesn't seem to work.

I raely even let people know what I use if it's not my broken digital camera, because they seem to knit-pick every little thig about it, if it's a mystery then they tend to get a different attitude about it.
And don't forget that equipment does not equal skill!

No kidding. I've seen some photos here with low-end cameras in the hands of a teenager that is better than I can do with years of experience and my medium format. Some people are just plain better at seeing than I am.

And then there's the ease of use of modern photoshop programs, I use Gimp, and it's really easy...
I say do what you like and ignore theose who want to pick on you, their usually jealous or stupid or just mean!

The eyelid idea came from a cartoon called Brandy and Mr.Whiskers, I was flipping through channels one day and spotted it, and I liked how they did the eyelids on it!

My friends and I used to play a game, type in anything and find porn of it!
We also would type randomly suggested words into searches and see if it would turn up, like "Toaster Fight" you would'nt believe how many hits some of the more rediculous things would get!

Furry Bomb is a Sonic The Hedgehog based comic book porn from Japan, it's very strange and rather hard core...
I found it by accident once when I typed "Sally Acorn" into an image search a long time ago.
I would'nt recommend iot for the younger people, it's pretty messed up!
But I liked the way Sally was drawn in the one panel, so I did my own take on here here!

Nice manners, did you even read the description?
It says I based it off a Furry bomb, because I liked the way she looked, and if you took the time to compare it to the reference you'd see it is very different in composition and content, I just used the basic style and the pose from the reference.
And did you bother to look at the doodle it started out as? [link]
Besides, how the hell do you trace something that is online anyway?
So before you acuse someone of something, do your homework, compare it to what you think it is traced from, and maybe politely ask the "artist" about it, because leaving snide little arrogant comments tend to make you look like an ass.
Don't get me wrong though, I appreciate that you'd challenge it, but you could express your opinion in a better manner the next time.
I hope you don't take this too negatively, but after a long day to see a comment like that kinda pisses me off, I value all comments, good or bad, and I hope you feel free to comment on anything of mine....just some forethought is all I ask. (I'd give you the same respect if I thought something of your was not right)
